Paris has become so hot and muggy these days, it feels like living in a furnace, the stifling atmosphere is unbearable. To soothe my bitter mood, I decided to visit three of the best ice cream in Paris.
Glace Bachir, the authentic ice cream that Lebanon is proud of – best ice cream in paris
Address: 58 Rue Rambuteau, 75003 Paris
It’s a true story that dates back to 1936, when four young Lebanese men got together to create the Glace Bachir brand in the backyard of their home in Lebanon.
A 100% natural and handcrafted Lebanese ice cream, their special milk and flower ice cream achta is surrounded by a circle of green and yellow pistachio crumbs, inside is the smooth and delicate body of the ice cream, which melts in your mouth and even makes you think it is the usual “ice cream”, kind of like a colder marshmallow.
There are also classic flavors, rose petal, lemon, strawberry, vanilla, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, coffee, apricot, almond and pistachio, there is something for everyone !
My ice cream review:
First of all, Bashir’s ice cream is not too sweet and you won’t get tired of eating one, so if you like it, you can order a second one, but you might have to wait in line for another 10 minutes.
Secondly, there are plenty of pistachio crumbs on the outside, so those who like sundaes with peanuts can definitely fill up and eat them in one go. Inside, the ice cream itself is not too sticky when you touch it, and when you put it in your mouth, it doesn’t stay on your tongue for long and melts easily, so you will fully appreciate the delicacy of the polished ice cream.
At the end, I feel like I ate a fake “ice cream”, eating it doesn’t really refresh me, it’s like eating dessert after dinner disguised as “ice cream”, 😂 lol~.
A family of ice cream for half a century Berthillon – best ice cream in paris
I always say that the French are not very reliable, and I admit that they are. But! The next ice cream is named after a Frenchman – Berthillon, the famous Berthillon family of ice cream makers who have been reliable for 70 years, since 1954!
Their store is located in the heart of the Île Saint-Louis, with the Latin Quarter to the left, Chatelet to the right and Notre-Dame de Paris just a few blocks from the door, making it an absolute must-see.
The particularity of their ice creams is that they are made the same day and sold from 10 o’clock on the same day, fresh as a freshly caught lobster, and they sell in huge quantities, making at least 1,000 liters of ice a day to sell to the shoppers,
but also to the customers of 140 restaurants, brasseries, chocolate makers, luxury grocery stores in Paris, the Paris region and as far as Malbuisson in the Doubs, which represents both a B and C business, with even a home delivery.
What do you think it depends on, does it depend on the fact that the French are not reliable ?
This Frenchman makes the most reliable ice cream!
The French television show Paname even did a program on ice cream for this purpose:
“We don’t pay you to make ice cream, we pay you to make good ice cream.”—— BERNARD CHAUVIN
My ice cream review:
Berthillon offers a wide range of ice cream flavors, with different combinations to satisfy your little appetite !
I ordered the mango 🥭 and raspberry flavor, and the ice cream was very shiny on the outside, with a very bright color.
The first sensation is the sweetness of the mango, not the industrial white sugar, but the sweetness of the mango itself, not at all like an ice cream, but rather like a frozen ripe fruit.
One drink swallowed on a hot 38-degree summer day, my belly felt extremely good and wanted another, and even now, my brain wants one.
Take off ! Take off ! It is definitely the number one ice cream in Paris !
I’m tempted to ask: what is a Starbucks Frappuccino ?
Whoever you are, wherever you come from, whether you come to see the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre or the Arc de Triomphe, you absolutely must try this ice cream!
Or I think you’re going to lose a lot! I mean it!
Pozzetto, who does not do his job – best ice cream in paris
Address: 39 Rue du Roi de Sicile, 75004 Paris
We all know that Southern European countries lead a little retired life, a good place to go if you don’t want to work hard. And Pozzetto, which I’ll talk about next, is an Italian gelato, a delicious gelato from an unreliable country.
Why do you say this ice cream shop doesn’t do its job? The main reason is that this ice cream parlor that has received such good reviews doesn’t even have its own website. Opened in 2005 in the Marais district, it has only 3,000 followers in its 17 years of existence, but over 1,200 reviews.
Look at their posts
And look at the way they make fun of their fellow big brothers
However, if you dare to be so arrogant and not close, Italian artisanal gelato should be recognized as good.
All the ingredients come from Italy, without intermediaries, which makes the difference. The ice cream is produced in-house, a true homemade ice cream.
The name of the store, Pozzeto, is an Italian word that refers to the small buckets or cups used to serve ice cream in Italy.
My ice cream review:
Unpretentious, delicate and moderately sweet, with a generous portion spilling over the outside of the glass.
The flavor I ordered was chocolate and pistachio, the chocolate flavor was very strong and it was great~
A sweet and savory Pozzetto gelato on a hot day is a great way to cool off and quench your thirst !
Plus, there’s not only delicious gelato, but also plenty of Italian pastries, so have afternoon tea here and let the Italian pastries and gelato pozzeto take you to Florence’s piazza.
If there is only one option,
Glace Bachir, the authentic ice cream that Lebanon is proud of and Pozzetto, which does not do its job well, both are good, but if you are in a hurry, trust me 1000%! Go to Berthillon, a family of ice cream makers for half a century !
As the ice cream detaches from your mouth and slides into your stomach, you will experience what it means to be a dimensional reduction attack in the ice cream world.
